Rougie produce the finest foie gras and this Bloc of Goose Foie Gras with truffles is no exception. We have found that Rougie products have a higher percentage of pure lobe in their blocs than any other we've come across, explaining why it is so creamy and delicious.
The combination of the rich and creamy foie gras with the rustic earthy flavour of the truffles creates a wonderfully indulgent taste. Serve it on toast or with fresh brioche.
Just a quick tip - if you pop in the fridge for a couple of hours, then take it out 15 minutes before serving, it will be at the perfect temperature and texture - and will disappear amongst hungry guests in seconds.
